My name is Sarah Wells and I love teaching guitar! I was raised in Northern Kentucky and took lessons from Tom Kohlhepp, owner of the Music House studio, since I was in high school. Having graduated college and now a young adult, I am so grateful to be teaching at the studio where I was taught. I teach beginner guitar lessons and I strive to give my students a basic understanding of the various options they have on guitar, and then let them decide where they want to go with their instrument. I try to incorporate a little music theory and equip them with a basic ability to read sheet music, because I think these skills are important to form my students into well-rounded musicians. My goal is simply to give my students the skills and resources to pursue their passions in music and eventually be able to pave their own path on the guitar and make it their own as they progress.
